Our members at Petit Delight are finally re-opening their doors on Monday, but being closed hasn’t stopped them from thriving! Throughout the pandemic, they have expanded with two new ventures! The team began their Japanese street food brand, Baozi, in February this year and saw it take off rapidly! Plus, they’ve also began construction on their new Italian restaurant and wine bar, Corks Twenty Eight!

Our members at A P Robinson & Co have recently merged with Blow Abbott Chartered Accountants to form one larger organisation!
The new organisation will see all Blow Abbott staff blended into the ‘head office’, established at the A P Robinson & Co building in Cleethorpe Road. All clients will continue with their current contacts, and the new organisation will provide greater scope for career advancement from entry level positions, into management tiers.

Our members at Go Ape are supporting the UK Government’s Kickstart programme by creating over 100 new roles across their 34 locations nationwide! These roles include local marketing, customer experience, photography and retail. Each Kickstart placement is 6 months long and will include a minimum of 25 hours of work per week.
When asked about the Kickstart initiative their Managing Director, Nick Hall, said, “When we heard about Kickstart, we absolutely knew we wanted to get involved. Values like providing ‘Well-rewarded careers’ and ‘Doing the right thing’ are at the heart of Go Ape.”

Our members at Genius Technology Solutions recently donated a laptop to EDAN, a charity supporting victims of domestic abuse, ensuring its workers are still able to help those in need. The donation of the laptop is a great help to the EDAN team as they work remotely and can continue supporting vulnerable clients who come to the charity when they are in crisis and often in danger.

Over 400 families are expected to visit our local food bank this year as they are struggling to feed their families this Christmas, so the hard work Pepperells have put in to support this cause really will make someone’s Christmas!
