CPO was formed under the banner of social regeneration working in the eight most deprived wards in North East Lincolnshire. We currently work with adult community members who will not engage with traditional learning and NEETs (young people not in Employment, Education or Training). We offer a range of non-accredited and accredited training, including employability skills, in order to give individuals who are often deemed as ‘the hardest to reach’ the opportunity to re-engage with learning and/or work. We are also a Traineeship provider and create employment opportunities for those aged 16 – 18 years old. Our current offer also includes: health and wellbeing activities, and being a UK Online Centre.
Additionally we deliver support to families in Grimsby through a National Lottery Community Fund Project – entitled Grimsby Full Families; alongside this our next Children in Need Project starting in February – will support young people who do not have the same advantages as others.
As a social enterprise we supplement funding income by offering design and publishing services under our imprint North Wall Publishing. Through this arm we undertake design and print work of any size.
