My media career started within the advertising department, working for one of the U.K.’s largest newspaper groups. Over a 30-year career, I progressed to a regional role developing & implementing strategic advertising campaigns across platforms including newspapers, magazines and online.  This involved collaborating with businesses, to understand their goals and translate them into effective advertising campaigns.

Driven by the decline of local & regional newspaper groups, I changed career in 2017. I fell into the world of estate agency and cut my teeth as a residential property valuer, progressing to a regional role then to Group Business Development Manager and finally to Group Strategic Projects Manager. This role had a responsibility to develop customer service & brand awareness, taking me to various conferences & seminars in London and across the pond to the spectacular annual ‘Inman Connect’ event in New York (where I saw Simon Sinek!) hosting over 250 speakers and with over 4,000 attendees from all over the world. The learning and ideas taken from these events alone has been invaluable.

In my role as E-Factor Business Hive Ambassador, I am able to call upon all my experience gained from the above to help and understand the challenges businesses face on their journey.
