UCNL is part of DN Colleges Group, alongside North Lindsey College, Doncaster College, and University Campus Doncaster. Our mission is to enhance education for individuals at all stages of their lives by integrating higher education opportunities that elevate career prospects, skills, and world knowledge, while also boosting confidence and credibility for progression.
Purpose and Vision
At UCNL, our primary goal is to create an inspiring environment that raises aspirations and fosters success. We achieve this by:
- Collaboration with Employers and Organisations: We invite businesses and various organisations to our campus to collaborate with our learners and staff in innovative ways. This includes offering training, hosting conferences, and organizing networking events that tackle significant business challenges, fostering idea exchange and mutual benefit.
- Comprehensive Support System: Our contribution goes beyond facilities and courses. We have dedicated teaching staff who are committed to your success, know you personally, and build your confidence. Additionally, our support team offers assistance in pastoral care, academic skills, financial management, and career planning, available both online and in-person.
- Local Charities and Faith Groups: By partnering with these organizations, we participate in and lead various fundraising and community events.
- Schools and Community Initiatives: We aim to raise aspirations through active involvement in local educational and community projects, providing students with more opportunities and promoting a culture of helping others.
