I’m Nigel and I founded Laceby Locks in June 2023. A trustworthy, friendly and approachable individual, dedicated to providing customer satisfaction. I am a City and Guilds accredited Locksmith and Auto Locksmith.
MY STORY.
Since gaining a Chemistry degree, I worked in the highly regulated Pharmaceutical Industry providing a quality driven, customer focussed service for over 25 years. I was previously registered with the Home Office for handling of controlled substances, rest assured that you’re in safe hands!
Following time served in the Fine Chemical Industry, I wanted a career change and created ‘Laceby Locks’.
WHY DID I BECOME A LOCKSMITH?
Ever since being a victim of a burglary, I have been passionate about security. I understand the distress and anxiety that can be caused by having your personal property violated. Whatever the circumstances; be it a ‘lock-out’, hardware failure or burglary, we aim to relieve your stress securing you and your property as soon as possible.
I enjoy meeting people and helping others, it seemed I was destined to become a Locksmith!

- Attending lock-outs’: Trained to use specialist tools to gain entry to properties using non-destructive/ destructive methods.
- Hardware, repair, replacement and high security upgrades.
- Vehicular access: We can gain entry to many of the major car manufacturers.
- Safeguarding of Residential / Commercial properties
