Established in 2011, Grand Design Kitchen and Bedrooms was founded by Dan Smith an experienced property developer.
Dan’s passion for renovation and development inspired him to start the company, which has grown from the original showroom based in Cleethorpes to manufacturing at the Adam Smith Street workshop. Dan has invested in new machinery including CNC, edge bander, wood burner, spray booth and compressor.
At Grand Design we have pledged to recycle all waste where appropriate, at our manufacturing plant we have a wood burner where the off-cuts are used to heat the factory, saving on electricity.
Unlike other kitchen and bedroom suppliers, we manufacture our own designs, here in the heart of Grimsby. We are local company, employing local people to ensure we bring you the highest quality product and service. Our carcasses are manufactured on site to an exacting standard, with robust 18mm sides and backs (no flimsy back panels here) and handcrafted mortise and tenon joints.
